The US Government has planned to introduce ways to cut down the healthcare spending while increasing access and reducing expenses. To participate in an innovative program and to ensure that providers use IT in meaningful ways, CMS initiated the Quality Payment Program. QPP has additions that give the ability to the EHR vendors to implement new measure sets from the scratch and have the most weightage in MIPS.
